We are employing a color capture technology by using highly accurate digital color sensor which picks the color value of the reflected ray of a source light. A carefully designed exterior and interior mechanical design ensures cutting the ambient and any internal lights to avoid interference.
The processing of this color data happens over Quill's firmware which furnishes the precise hex value for the calibrated color sensor output. This value is then processed by the device internally to show the color via the LED visualizer in real-time and it is sent to the Quill iOS app upon BLE connectivity.
